CWDM Mux & Demux Module is a passive MUX/DEMUX unit, CWDM systems use filters to provide 20nm spacing for up to 16 separate wavelengths (colors) to be transmitted over a pair of fibers. A 16-channel CWDM Mux/Demux module has an operating wavelength of 1300nm ~ 1620nm and a center wavelength of 1310nm ~ 1610nm.

CWDM Demux Mux Module is a technology to increase network capacity by using spectrum between 1270 and 1610 nm. It can realize up to 18 channels with 20 nm channel spacing. CWDM has the characteristics of wide frequency band and large wavelength interval, which is mainly used for short distance transmission. Opelink provide Standard CWDM Mux/Demux package type include: ABS box package, LGX pakcage and 19” 1U rackmount.
