FTTN Solutions

2020-07-07

FTTX is the term used for broadband network architecture that utilizes fiber optics to provide all or part of the local loop used for the last kilometer of telecommunications.FTTX is used as a placeholder for several fiber deployment configurations, such as FTTN (fiber to neighbor/node) and FTTD (Fiber to desktop).

These networks typically use very high-bit-rate digital subscriber lines (VDSL) with downlink rates well in excess of 20Mbit/s.Some programs plan to provide 1000/1000 Mbit/s symmetric connections directly to the consumer home.

Since the data rate of the connection is limited by the terminal equipment rather than the cable, it is assumed that the fiber will not become obsolete. This leaves room for dramatic speed increases through system upgrades without having to replace the fiber.

As you know, fiber optic systems provide powerful and cost-effective broadband network solutions for businesses and consumers.
